Born: 10.5.2007
Ernine's dam Elaine was leased
for breeding and I hoped to get a filly foal
from her to carry on the female line. Ernine (aka
Ninni) is just what I wanted, even a little bit
better than I dared to wish for!
The filly is brave and curious and also very
trusting. She will be retained for the future
breeding purposes.
Ernine was awarded I class
premium and she was Champion Connemara foal at
the National Pony Show in August 2007. Filly
Caragh Ernine was third in the Connemara
Championships at the National Pony Show 2007.
Ninni was shown at the Connemara
Breed Show in September 6th 2008. She was placed
second in her class after her sister Emer and
got I class premium. In her comments the Irish
judge Mrs Petch mentioned "Very typical. Pretty
head, good neck, good length of rein. Good depth.
Free in walk & trot".
Ernine was shown again at the
horse boards assessment on 3.6.2010. She got a
good point score 99787/ 40 and I premium. She
was measured 148 cms.
2012 Ernine was first shown at
the Breed Show in September. She was placed
second in her class and the judge John Noel
Mullen from Ireland gave her first premium with
following comments: "Good, deep mare, scopy.
Strong filly. Good walk. Good back".
October 1st she was inspected by Finlands
Hippos' inspectors. The result was excellent,
her marks were 9 for type, 9 for head, neck &
body, 7 for limbs and movements correctness, 8
for walk, 8 for trot, 8 for canter.
